Newly refurbished double-deck buses in a striking purple and gold livery run up to every 10 minutes Mondays to Saturdays between Brighton and Lewes, with buses every 30 minutes to Tunbridge Wells, and every 30 minutes on Sundays between Brighton and Uckfield, with a bus every hour to Tunbridge Wells. The refurbished buses on this route are also fitted with free WiFi.
Between Brighton and Tunbridge Wells there are plenty of things to see and do to enjoy a great day out in Sussex and Kent.
Lewes is a fantastic place to stop off on the Regency 29, with lots of history. Climb to the top of 1000 year old Norman Castle and you will not be disappointed by stunning panoramic views of Sussex. There is also a Barbican House next door home to the Museum of Sussex Archaeology housing collections from the Stone Age to medieval times.

You can also visit Harvey's Brewery, the oldest independent brewery in Sussex, which is still in the Harvery family after eight generations. The brewery is incredibly popular with a long waiting list for tours. However, the brewery shop remains open 6 days a week selling beers, wines, spirits and Harvey's official merchandise.
If you feel a little peckish, there are many fantastic restaurants within Lewes and you are never a short walk away from one.
Tunbridge Wells has the great Spa Valley Railway, a wonderful ride through the High Weald countryside by heritage steam or diesel trains. Take the train and explore Eridge, Groombridge, High Rocks or Tunbridge Wells, with plenty of local attractions at each of the stations you will find something for all the family to enjoy.
